Farewell!

This morning, the Glee Club performed at the Huntsman Cancer Institute as well as the University of Utah Hospital. We were very well-received by the patients who loved our singing and presence. We had such a great time performing for them.

We later visited the Temple Square and a great tour with two Mormon girls. We saw the Tabernacle and sang Lux Arumque there.

We're headed home tomorrow morning. It's been a great tour, and it's been a pleasure blogging. Apologies to anyone who was offended by the lack of professionalism that was present in previous entries.

Pictures will be arriving shortly.

Greetings from Salt Lake City!

The Penn Glee Club arrived in Salt Lake City today. Sorry for the lack of updates in Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon did not have wi-fi, and the Las Vegas hotel wi-fi costed half as much as our hotel room (true story!). We're performing tomorrow at 10:30 AM at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, located at 2000 Circle of Hope, Salt Lake City, UT 84112 (Telephone: (801) 585-0303). We'll be here until Sunday morning, and then it's back to Philly we go. It's been a great tour, and it's been a pleasure blogging. Enjoy these pictures from our adventures over the past few days.

Singing at the Ball Game

The Glee Club sang the Canadian and American national anthems at the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Toronto Blue Jays game today. We were joined in song by Mitch, a PGC alumnus from 1975 who helped us set up today's and yesterday's gig.

Tour Day 3, Tourists and Performers

This morning, the Penn Glee Club took a tour of the Missions.

We then sang in the church located on the tourist grounds, and we had a great and happy audience of passerby.

Later tonight, we performed at Ruth Taylor Recital Hall at Trinity University organized by the Penn Alumni of the San Antonio area. We performed a 1.5 hour show for a full audience in the recital hall and then met with the alumni at the reception after the performance.

Tour Day 2, San Antonio

This afternoon, we performed at the Edgewood School. Our full audience, made up of middle schoolers and high schoolers, was absolutely incredible and attentive. We performed an hour-long set, including the crowd-pleaser, "Don't Stop Believin'" and talked with some of the students afterwards.

Tonight, we went to dinner at the Don Strange Ranch in Waring, Texas. We had steaks and other homemade food while live country singers and musicians entertained us in the background. The Glee Club then performed two songs for the dining audience. We also made friends with a few of the country musicians, Chris Salinas and his brother Caleb.
